Minimally Invasive Surgery
Minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, also called laparoscopy and hysteroscopy, is performed through small incisions. For the patient these smaller incisions mean less postoperative pain, faster discharge from the hospital in those cases in which a hospital admission is required, and the ability to return to normal activities sooner than with conventional surgery.
Our group of doctors performs more of these minimally invasive procedures than any other group in our Jacksonville Beaches community.
