At BeachesObGyn we have a different approach to prenatal care. We understand that obstetrical care should not feel like a game of musical chairs with different faces being seen at each encounter. We offer an unparalleled level of support and personalized care.
We call it VIP Obstetrics and this includes
- A comprehensive initial obstetrical evaluation, interview and information session with your personal doctor to address all questions, concerns, and pregnancy management options.
- Office visits exclusively with your personal doctor.
- Delivery by your personal physician, not an anonymous "on-call" physician. Your doctor will be on call for you daily.** In fact, our doctors have delivered more than 97% of their patients.
- Ultrasound evaluations in the first trimester
- Second trimester screening for Down’s syndrome and neural tube defects
- Diabetes screening
- All patients will have a private birthing and postpartum suite
- Many other services
* There are rare situations when your physicians may be unavailable; in this type of situation one of our other BeachesObGyn physicians will be available.
When it is time to welcome your baby you will go to Baptist Medical Center: Beaches. The patient suites are designed for labor and delivery through recovery and postpartum care and feature home-like amenities including rocking chairs, flat screen TV’s, DVD players, afternoon “tea time” and large windows with views of calming gardens to ensure mom and family are as comfortable as possible. And our family-centered care philosophy features flexible rooming-in and visitor policies.
